Dirichlet problem for Laplace's equation, variational formulation, Rayleigh-Ritz principle, Sobolev spaces, weak solutions, interior and boundary regularity, convergence of the finite element method, heat equation and the Gaussian kernel, maximum principle, stability, consistency, and convergence of numerical methods.
