Description: This coujrse will examine the gene therapy field, with topics ranging from gene delivery vectors to current human clinical trials. The design principles for engineering imporoved gene delivery vectors, both viral and nonviral, will be discussed. Current disease- specific applications of gene therapy in animinal models and humans will be presented.
