Description: Mapping German Culture: Filmaking has celebrated its first hundred years. Women's contributions were significant and deserve to widen the film canon for all filmgoers. The course will concentrate on films by European women directors, taking into account aesthetic particularities, gender commitment, and post-feminist attempts. Taught in English.
