Description: This course is dedicated to the study and craft of fiction, nonfiction, and poetry. Through engaged reading and creative exercises, students will analyze the use of various elements of creative writing - including image, voice, tension, character, setting, and story. Students will develop a writing portfolio as well as a sense of the possibilities inherent in and unique to each genre.
