Description: Many aspects of today's life for women go back to developments in Medieval times. Seminar explores the freedom and restrictions of women from different religions, queens and nobles, merchants to prostitutes, in families and monasteries. Participation includes a trip to an exhibition in Germany. Course fulfills requirement for MDST majors. Cross-list: HIST 446.
