Description: FRESHMAN SEMINAR: THE WORLD OF THE ARABIAN NIGHTS ***** Seminar on the social and cultural world of the stories of the 1001 nights. Readings and discussions reveal how they became famous in Europe and a source for western images of the Islamic World.
