Description: FUTURE TECHNOLOGIES ***** This course examines emerging technologies against the backdrop of historical, cultural and business trends. Students are asked to assume the role of an analyst who must produce a white papaer on an emerging technology. Each student studies a specific technology and produces a white paper (and PowerPoint presentation) reporting his or her findings and recommendations. Students learn strategies for evaluating a future technology's market potential and communicating findings to the investment community in written and face-to-face communications.
