Description: GENERAL BUSINESS LAW ***** The purpose of the business law course will be to introduce M.B.A. students to legal concepts as that affects the world of the manager. The goals of this course are to have the students accomplish the following: To become familiar with the language of the law; To become familiar with the judicial system and legal process; To develop an understanding of the process of legal reasoning; To understand some of the management tasks affected by the law; To analyze the affect of law on business, and the affect of business on law; and To increase the manager's ability to work with, rely on, and evaluate the advice of counsel.
