Description: SYSTEMS ANALYSIS AND DATABASE DESIGN ***** Modern approaches to software systems analysis and design, and the fundamentals of database design, including the process of data normalization. The course presents the major approaches to systems development, including data-driven analysis, process modeling, and object-oriented analysis and design techniques; including project life-cycle methodologies and newer iterative approaches to systems development. Students gain experience with the major components of structured query language (SQL), including referential integrity and the use of triggers and stored procedures.
