Description: ENTREPRENSHIP IN BIOTECHNOLOGY ***** This course provides an insider's perspective on the workings and challenges of an early to mid-stage pharmaceutical company. Current company issues and case studies are used to discuss topics including pre-clinical & clinical development, licensisng & business development and intellectual property and patent strategies. The course is intended for students considering or preparing for a career in an entrepreneurial biotechnology company. Previous coursework in entrepreneurship or healthcare is preferred.
