Description: SECONDARY METABOLISM A survey of the biosynthetic pathways leading to the major classes of natural products. Topics covered include the use of radioactive and stable isotopes, the synthesis of labeled organic compunds, mechanistic investigations of secondary metabolic enzymes, and the cloning and characterization of secondary metabolic genes.
