Description: SEMINAR ON FILM AUTHORSHIP: SCORSESE, PENN, KUBRICK ***** Focuses on issues of authorship in film and television. Presents a structuralist and post-structuralist reading of the films of Stanley Kubrick, Martin Scorsese, and Arthur Penn. Their films will be seen in the context of the social issues of the 1960s through the 1990s. ***** Enrollment limited to 15.
