A laboratory course, with lecture, to introduce students to a variety of experimental techniques, methods, and instruments of current interest. The content will generally correspond to the ideas and concepts introduced in the Physical Electronics courses, Elec 305, 306, 461, and 463, including: general optics; lasers and fiber optics; spectroscopy.
