Description: MACHO CULTURE IN LATIN AMERICA ***** This course examines the works of patriarchal ideology in a variety of cultural forms (literature, film, painting, photography). Studies the ways in which this ideology, which manifests itself in works by both men and women, defines male and female roles in Latin American culture. ***** Prerequisite: Advanced Spanish or permission of the instructor.
