Description: EDUCATION POLICY ***** This course examines educational politics and policy from micro and macro perspectives. We will focus on school governance, structure, and finance at the federal, state, and local levels and examine the design, implementation and effects of various school reform initiatives in U.S., and to a more limited extent in other countries. ***** Enrollment limited to 13. ***** PREREQUISITE: Permission of instructor required.
