Description: NAVIGATION & CARTOGRAPHY ***** Navigation and cartography changed more rapidly in the period from 1400 to 1600 than in any other period prior to the 20th century. Topics covered include the history of projections, origin of latitude and longitude scales, compass roses, ship design and related subjects.
