Description: COMPUTER-ASSISTED LANGUAGE INSTRUCTION ***** Exploration of the theory and practice of using computers and other technologies in the language classroom. Includes language software, authoring systems, hypertext, e-mail, video, videodisc, and CD-ROM, as well as a survey of the ways that technology can be used in language teaching and various aspects of courseware development. Required for linguistics majors in second language acquisition concentration.
