Description: GERMAN SOCIETY AND POLITICS FROM 1945 TO THE PRESENT ***** This course offers an introduction to German society and politics from 1945 to the present. Topics of this course include the political and economic institutions, the separation of East and West Germany, the revolution of 1989 and the transformation of East Germany, the European integration, the Berliner Republic, as well as biographical experiences of different generations literary and cinematic narratives of German society.
