Description: HISPANIC CINEMA ***** This course examines the ways in which films in both Spain and Latin America have represented the political contexts of their countries. Focus is on the theme of power, and on the social and individual consequences of repressive regimes. ***** PREREQUISITE: Third-year Spanish or permission of the instructor.
