Description: PUBLIC OPINION, POLLING & THE MEDIA ***** Covers survey research methodology as it applies to political opinion polling. Attention is given to theories of attitude formation and change, the impact of the media on public opinion, and measurement issues in the survey research process. Prior coursework in the social sciences is required.
