Description: FEMINIST PHILOSOPHY ***** This course is an introduction to feminist philosophy, including texts by both historical and contemporary thinkers (e.g. Wollstonecrat, Mill, de Beauvoir, MacKinnon, Gilligan, Irigaray). We shall discuss both feminists' radical critiques of traditional values and beliefs, and feminist alternative views of justice, ethical judgment, and truth. ***** Also offered as PHIL 319.
