Description: SOUTH ASIAN LITERATURE, POETRY, AND POPULATION CULTURE ***** HIND 335 consolidates and builds on the intermediate/advanced level course HIND 202. Foci of the course will vary each year depending on both, the needs and interests of the students in the class, as well as contemporary issues. Readings range from classical, to modern 20th century literature and poetry. Various art forms, including theater and film, will be thematically related to the readings. ***** Prerequisite(s): HIND 202 or permission of instructor.
