Description: GOSPEL AND TRADITION ***** An examination of the Synoptic Problem--one of the major unresolved issues in the study of ancient, Western textual traditions! Exploration of orality, narrativity and memorial arbitration exposes the inadequacies of the present historical model, and suggests a reconceptualization of the issue of the genesis of the Christian foundation stories.
