Description: COMPOSITION AND CONVERSATION I ***** DISTRIBUTION COURSE GROUP 1 ***** Discussion and composition based on a variety of reading materials (videos, German newspapers, websites, short stories) and interactional contexts (partner works, reports, interviews, dialogues). Focus on cultural awareness and topics relating to contemporary German culture and politics. Special emphasis on developing writing skills and oral fluency. Taught in German. ***** PREREQUISITE: GERM 202 or equivalent and permission of instructor. *****
