Description: ADVANCED ITALIAN FOR WRITTEN & ORAL COMMUNICATION ***** DISTRIBUTION COURSE GROUP 1 ***** Active practice of compostion, oral analysis and discussion based upon the reading of texts and viewing of films on selected issues and problems in modern Italian society. The course includes short stories by Pirandello, Giovani Verga, Cesare Pavese, Italo Calvino, and Dino Buzzati, as well as a novel from the contemporary period. ***** Enrollment limited to 20. Repeatable for Credit.
