Description: INTRODUCTION TO INDIAN RELIGIONS ***** This course will survey the major schools of Indian philosophy, beginning with the ancient period of Vedic speculation, the formation of the distinct schools during the classical period, and their medieval developments. While the function will be primarily on Hindu and Buddhist schools, Jain philosophy will also be covered. Offered with additional work as RELI 504.
