Description: INTRODUCTION TO INDIAN PHILOSOPHY ***** This course will survey the major schools of Indian philosophy, beginning with the ancient period of Vedic speculation, the formation of the distinct schools during the classical period, and their medieval developments. While the focus will be primarily on Hindu and Buddhist schools, Jain philosophy will also be covered. Also offered as RELI 234/504.
