Description: ENGENDERING AMERICAN DEMOCRACY: THE HISTORY OF THE RIGHT TO VOTE ***** This seminar traces the history of American voting rights from the colonial period through the present and focuses our attention on changing ideas about democracy, sovereignty, and consent.
