Description: MEDIEVAL EMPIRES ***** 'Empires and Communities in the Middle Ages'. Out of the "ruins" of the Roman Empire two empires emerged taht claimed to be the rightful successor to the Roman Empire: The Byzantine Empire and the Holy Roman Empire.
