Description: PRINCIPLES OF ECONOMICS II ***** DISTRIBUTION COURSE GROUP 2 ***** Includes the measurement and determination of national income; money, banking, and fiscal policy; business cycles, unemployment, and inflation; international trade and balance of payments, and other contemporary economic problems. Required for economics and mathematical economic analysis majors. ***** Prerequisite: ECON 211. ***** May also be offered in the summer. ***** Students (majors and non-majors) enrolled at Rice who wish to transfer this course from another institution must pass a department qualifying examination. ***** Unlimited enrollment for section taught by professor. Other sections limited to 25.
