Description: ACCELERATED ELEMENTARY CHINESE II ***** DISTRIBUTION COURSE GROUP 1 ***** More attention will be paid to reading narrative texts. Writing will be focused on skills necessary for basic personal needs, with some introduction to writing more advanced social correspondence. At the completion of 212, students will be able to write approximately 400 Chinese characters, and be able to perform communicative tasks appropriate to this range of characters. ***** PREREQUISITE: CHIN 211, placement test, or ability to write 200 Chinese characters. ***** INSTRUCTOR: McArthur, Charles Marshall
