Description: INTERMEDIATE FRENCH LANGUAGE AND CULTURE I ***** DISTRIBUTION COURSE GROUP 1 ***** Communication based course. Focuses on the functional use of the language through linguistic, sociocultural and situational contexts. Develops all four language skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing). Students from the College of Engineering enrolled in 201 will have the opportunity to take FREN 214 in May. See FREN 214. ***** Prerequisite(s): FREN 102, placement exam, or permission of instructor.
