Description: INTERMEDIATE MODERN ARABIC LANGUAGE AND CULTURE I ***** DISTRIBUTION COURSE GROUP 1 ***** In this second-year Arabic class students will develop proficiency in reading and writing. They will be introduced to more complex semantic and syntactic structures. They will practice class presentations as well as writing about a variety of topics. There is also emphasis on etymology, and students will be introduced to the use of the Arabic dictionary. Language lab required.
