Description: INTRODUCTION TO MODERN ARABIC LANGUAGE AND CULTURE ***** Using the direct method and an interactive approach, this course attempts to balance the fours language skills seasoned with a strong cultural content. Students will be exposed to additional basic structures, a wider range of vocabulary for daily life use and cultural aspects related to the Arab world. Most of the content focuses on the self, college, home and work environs in both the American and Arab contexts. Audio and Video media are required.
