Description: This course is an introduction to digital photography, as well as major achievements in the history of photography, through a series of assignments covering 6 major genres. Course work will include taking, adjusting, printing, discussing, and writing about photographs. The class is a balance of visual awareness, technical skills and meaning in the context of photography’s continuing history. Cross-list: HART 209.
