Description: This course will analyze certain types of cultural productions (fiction, movies, etc.) produced in geographical contact zones, that generate hybrid languages and genres. These are products of migrations and nomadic people. Previously offered as SPPO 453. Mutually exclusive. Credit cannot be earned for SPAN 453 if student has previously taken SPPO 453. Recommended Prerequisite(s): Advanced Spanish or permission of the instructor.
