Description: A survey of computational approaches to modeling cognitive processes. The emphasis will be on recent production system models, but other approaches will also be covered. The course will involve evaluation of existing models and hands-on experience in modeling. Recommended Prerequisite(s): PSYC 203 and COMP 200 (or equivalent). Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for PSYC 430 if student has credit for PSYC 543.
