Description: Advanced study of religion and poverty in global context. Course materials will address religious, ethical anthropological theories of development, analyze specific themes economic and social development, examine the role of Faith Based Organizations and do specific case studies. Students will be graded on short reflections papers and a final term paper. Cross-list: RELI 528. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for RELI 328 if student has credit for RELI 528.
