Description: Stochastic networks and queueing systems in a variety of applications including service systems engineering, logistics, telecommunications, manufacturing, transportation and data centers. Topics include fundamental queueing models (Markovian, non-Markovian, single-server or multi-server) and stochastic networks, performance analysis and approximations, fluid and diffusion models under heavy traffic, simulation, optimal control (scheduling and routing) of stochastic network models.
