Topics include natural selection, adaptation, molecular evolution, formation of new species, the fossil record, biogeography, and principles of classification. BIOS 569 can be taken concurrently with BIOS 534. Graduate/Undergraduate Equivalency: BIOS 334. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for BIOS 534 if student has credit for BIOS 334.
