Description: Introduction to computer modeling and simulation of the human neuromusculoskeletal system. Topics include measurement of human movement, 3D kinematic modeling, inverse and forward dynamic simulations, muscle and joint contact force estimation, and neural control modeling. Programming proficiency in Matlab required. Cross-list: MECH 597. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for MECH 497 if student has credit for MECH 597.
