Description: Introduction to numerical methods with applications in Earth Science using Matlab and COMSOL. Much of the class is spent in the computer lab learning Matlab and COMSOL, followed by hands-on exercises. Cross-list: ESCI 672. Recommended Prerequisite(s): MATH 211.
