Description: Using the Concept Development Approach, this course will teach teachers how to engage students in inquiry science and provide teachers with in depth conceptual knowledge about chemical fundamentals. The course will include hands-on activities and discussions about chemical concepts that include gas laws, kinetic molecular theory, acid base equilibrium, and phase equilibrium. Nanotechnology research with biological applications will be highlighted throughout the course. Recommended Prerequisite(s): CHEM 570.
