Description: This class will cover the tenets of ethical journalism as outlined by the SPJ guidelines. Students will analyze whether news articles from different media outlets are biased and follow the SPJ guidelines. We will discuss whether journalists should be social advocates – is cold, hard news really the best journalistic mindset?
