Linguistic data as evidence for the cognitive structures and processes that enable people to learn and use language; how linguistic structure influences concept formation and patterns of thinking. Without Permission of Instructor, must have Graduate Standing. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for LING 506 if student has credit for LING 306.
