Description: Introduction to the study of the Portuguese language and culture with emphasis on the development of the listening, speaking, reading and writing. This course uses textbooks as well as music, websites and videos for access to various kinds of cultural material and pretexts for communication. Recommended prerequisite(s): No prior knowledge of Portuguese.
