Description: Continuation of ARAB 141. Development of interactional competence in Arabic (sociolinguistic and socio cultural knowledge) to communicate and interact with speakers of Arabic. The course is based on a student-centered, critical-thinking approach to language analysis/acquisition. Recommended Prerequisite(s): ARAB 101 or ARAB 141 or ARAB 161 or ARAB 222 or Placement Test. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for ARAB 142 if student has credit for ARAB 262.
