Includes strategies to regenerate metabolic organs and repair structural tissues, as well as cell-based therapies to deliver proteins and other therapeutic drugs, with emphasis on issues related to cell and tissue transplantation such as substrate properties, angiogenesis, growth stimulation, cell differentiation, and immunoprotection.
