Description: Introduction to structural dynamic systems and control. Linear systems and control theory, transform methods, state space methods, feedback control, observers and identification. Applications using MATLAB. Demonstrations and laboratory examples. Students in CEVE 576 (GR version) will be required to do more advanced assignments and a project. Instructor Permission Required for Undergraduates. Cross-list: MECH 576, Graduate/Undergraduate Equivalency: CEVE 476. Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for CEVE 576 if student has credit for CEVE 476.
