Description: This upper level seminar on International Health is designed to increase students' awareness of the multiple dimensions and complexities involved in understanding the health of people from diverse geographic, political, economic, and cultural backgrounds. The seminar will explore issues and concepts of delivery and acceptance of health care, traditional health belief customs and practices, policy, epidemiology and public health problems, demographic and environmental characteristics among selected worldwide populations.
